Extended Education: Apples on the Front Range – From Seedlings to Hard Cider

AppleTree_CloseUp_WEBJoin Scott Skogerboe, Head Propagator at Fort Collins Wholesale Nursery, and Jesse Eastman, Owner of Fort Collins Nursery, as they dive into the delicious and fascinating world of apples. In the first half of the class, Scott will introduce the best varieties to grow on the Front Range and will discuss how to care for your fruiting friends. For the second half of the class, Jesse will introduce you to cidermaking, from choosing the best apples to pressing and fermenting the juice for a refreshing libation. Don’t miss this class that will be filled with fun stories, great photos, tons of information, and even some homemade hard cider samples! All ages welcome to attend, but you must be 21 or older to taste the hard cider.
