Whether you have raised beds or flower beds, hedges or sedges, you are sure to learn something new during this panel discussion with locally grown soil experts. From the science of soil to soil mixing to how soil affects your garden, the conversation will give you the tools to grow better. Join Dr. Jean Reeder Ph.D., Matthew Edward Celesta, and Bryant Mason as they answer your soil questions and share their experience. The panel will be moderated by Jesse Eastman, Owner of Fort Collins Nursery.

 

Dr. Jean Reeder Ph.D has retired from the USDA Agricultural Research Service and is currently a consultant with the Colorado State University (CSU) Soil Testing Lab.

 

Matthew Edward Celesta is the V.P. of Production at Maxfield’s Organics, a Colorado soil company specializing in organic soils and amendments.

 

Bryant Mason is the founder of the Urban Farm Company that installs raised beds for homeowners and community gardens.
