Recycle Nursery Pots

Did you know that you can recycle your black nursery pots in curbside recycling?

According to the City of Fort Collins, nursery pots of 1 gallon and under, as well as 4- and 6-packs can be placed with other recyclable materials.

Check with your individual curbside recycling provider for any restrictions, or visit the Larimer County Recycling Center for more information.

Fort Collins Nursery also offers a pot return or reuse bin in the north parking lot. If you are looking for pots, you may also take from this bin!

Do you ever sell the really large pots used for large trees when you are finished using them?

We reuse the large pots over and over again until they’re unusable, so we’re never really finished using them! We do sell #10 sized nursery pots, and sometimes larger ones can be found in our pot recycle bin (feel free to take a look through it next time you’re here – you’re welcome to take anything from the pot recycle bin).
