Long-Blooming Perennials for Northern Colorado

January 20, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$22

Course Description:

When gardeners dive into the fascinating and diverse world of perennials, they are often disappointed to find that, unlike annuals, most perennials only bloom for a few weeks. Some perennials push that envelope. Learn about the long-blooming stars that flower tirelessly for over a month, often even longer. Get to know peak performers for every season and for various amounts of sunlight and moisture.

Presented by Lauren Springer Ogden:

Longtime northern Coloradoan and Fort Collins Nursery workshop instructor Lauren Springer Ogden is a designer, author, propagator, and plantswoman. She has designed gardens at the Denver Botanic Gardens, Chatfield Farm, and the Gardens on Spring Creek where she is on staff. Her plant introductions to the trade include several Plant Select plants.
