July 25, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

PergolaThis workshop offers students a comprehensive glimpse into the world of pergolas.  Topics explored will include the advantages and popularity of pergolas and incorporating them into your landscape design.  The primary focus of this course however, is the construction aspect including the conventional bolted approach and the presenters  specialty, timber framing.  In this presentation, we will discuss costs, designs, wood species, and learn about the traditional tools and techniques used in the timber framing tradition.

Presented by Peter Haney, Chris Drake & Chris Kates
