Soils & Fertilizers: What Every Gardener Should Know

DiggingForkThis is a beginner class designed to give you a strong foundational understanding of the importance of using good soils & fertilizers and the differences between various products. We will review where the market trends are headed in terms of bacteria usage in the soil. If 90% of plant problems are soil problems, now might be the time to consider the soil preparation process we’re using in our various beds and containers. We will address the following: • The differences between Compost, Top Soil & Potting Mixes • Weed & Feed Fertilizers versus Organic alternatives • How bacteria work in our soils and how their use can dramatically reduce the need for chemicals.

This is a 90 minute class.
