Structure in the Landscape for Year-Round Interest

Often we relinquish much of our landscape to turf and perennial/annual flowering plants, failing to create permanent year round impact with hardscape and structural plants and limiting our landscapes seasonal interest. This class will focus on creating structure and form in the landscape and adding interest to the garden year round with both hardscape (patios, paths, streambeds, boulders, etc) and structural plant material.
Loretta Mannix is a Fort Collins landscape designer and horticulturalist specializing in water-wise landscape designs. She holds a B.S. in Landscape Horticulture with a concentration in Landscape Design and an M.S in Entomology. Her business, The Horticulture Consultant, offers a range of services from landscape design to plant problem diagnosis.
