Lauren Springer Ogden, the well known author of The Undaunted Garden and a Northern Colorado gardener, will discuss gardening with blooming plants that pass muster on her criteria for sustainability: they must be waterwise, well-adapted to our soils and climate, easy-care, and attract pollinators and/or feed wildlife with seeds, and of course, be lovely as well.
Orchid Splendor at Home / $25
1-3 p.m. Beginner • Limit 50 spaces

Learn about what makes orchids so special and participate in hands-on demonstrations examining how to grow and bloom orchids successfully at home. Mark has grown orchids since 1990 and is a certified orchid judge for the American Orchid Society. Class fee includes: FREE 2″ orchid and container for repotting (note: repotting will be done as part of the class).
