Workshop: The Year-round Water-Wise Garden

Would you like to create your own beautiful year-round garden? Maybe you need some new ideas to add interest during the off-season months? Using local examples, Pat will share with you a palette of adaptable and resilient plants that will provide color, texture and architectural interest for every month of the year.

This workshop will include discussions on the importance of knowing your own soil conditions, understanding the specific needs of native & adapted plants, and descriptions and dozens of low-water, stunning garden and landscape plants that are proven to be some of the best choices for the area. Specific plants to be highlighted included dwarf and unusual conifers, succulents, small trees, and pollinator-friendly shrubs, perennials and groundcovers.
