SUMMARY:2016 Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off & Fall Jamboree
DESCRIPTION:Fort Collins Nursery’s 8th Annual Giant Pumpkin Contest will take place on Sunday\, October 2nd. For the 2nd year\, we are an officially sanctioned contest site for the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth which brings a whole new level of competition and some truly staggering entries! Growers will compete for cash prizes and awards in multiple prize categories. this year we will continue to grow our event by adding live music and a beer tent to our exciting festival atmosphere that will provide fun for the entire family! \nClick here to see photos and winners from last year’s contest. \nCompetition Categories & Prizes \n\nHeaviest Pumpkin \n\n\nHeaviest Pumpkin 1st  Place- $1\,700\nHeaviest Pumpkin 2nd Place- $900\nHeaviest Pumpkin 3rd Place- $400\nHeaviest Pumpkin 4th Place- $200\nHeaviest Pumpkin 5th Place- $100\n\n\nHeaviest Squash 1st Place- $200\nHoward Dill (Prettiest Pumpkin) 1st Place- $50 Fort Collins Nursery Gift Card\nLongest Long Gourd 1st Place- $50 Fort Collins Nursery Gift Card\nKids Division (13 and under) 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd place- Prize  & Ribbon\n\nRules and Regulations \n\nHeaviest Pumpkin & Squash\nLong Gourd Regulations\nOther resources\n\nRegistration/ Check-in \nContestants may register and check in between 10-11am.
