SUMMARY:Watershed & Ecosystem Science & Sustainability - Community Engagement
DESCRIPTION:Members of the CSU Watershed & Ecosystem Science & Sustainability (W.E.S.S.) club will set up on our patio on April 26 to engage with customers about xeric gardening principles and the benefits of utilizing native plants in our landscapes. \nFort Collins Nursery will donate $1 to the club for every 2.5″ native perennial that we sell throughout the day. \nThe W.E.S.S. club is a Colorado State University club that was founded in September 2024. The club is interdisciplinary\, applying ideas from both watershed and ecosystem science & sustainability majors that help them to grow professional skills\, a network\, and to be able to connect with the Fort Collins community. They’re currently fundraising to support club events for next year and are hoping to be able to purchase club t-shirts as well.
