DESCRIPTION:Our Annual Giant Pumpkin Contest is on Saturday\,  October 4th this year from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Bring your own pumpkins to win cash prizes for the heaviest fruit: \n\n1st Place: $500\n2nd Place: $200\n3rd Place: $100\n4th Place: $50\n5th Place: $25\n\nThis is a family-friendly event so bring the whole family out for some serious fun! We will have face painting from Best Face Painter\, food demonstrations with the International Dutch Oven Society\, Cookies & Cider\, along with FREE  Unicorn Rides & Pumpkin Bowling for the kids! \nIt is free to enter\, just bring your entry to Fort Collins Nursery Oct. 4th at 10 a.m. to register and weigh-in your pumpkin. One (1) entry per person please. All entries must be received by 1 p.m. Winners will be announced at 2:00 p.m.\, you must be present to win! \nIt should be a beautiful autumn day\, see you here! \nNeed growing tips?
