Since picking up her first pawn shop guitar at twenty-one\, Alysia has been engaged in a full-fledged creative battle to make songs that she and other humans enjoy and relate to. Despite never totally identifying as a musician… Alysia loves songs\, the pirate-ship camaraderie of being in bands\, the incomparable magic of people connecting through music. She’s opened for rock icons Bon Jovi and Blondie (among others)\, played two high school proms\, and waited on most of her biggest musical heroes. Life is humbling\, mostly beautiful\, and always full of song.  \nVenue Details:\nThis summer marks the 5th season of Fort Collins Nursery’s Rock Garden Concert Series. For three epic nights\, Fort Collins Nursery will transform from a retail space to a stunning and unique concert venue appropriately dubbed “The Rock Garden.” Audience members can relax under the evening sky\, nestled along the banks of Dry Creek and the Cache la Poudre River\, surrounded by beautiful plants\, trees and wildlife.  \nFor each concert\, we’ve partner with a wonderful local non-profit organization. A portion of ticket sales plus all bar proceeds and live auction proceeds will benefit the organization. In addition to great music\, each concert will feature a beer and wine tent\, food trucks\, and dog adoption event.  Click here to see photos from past shows \nBenefit Details:\nThe concert is a fundraising event benefiting Project Self-Sufficiency and funds raised will support their mission to help single parents realize their dreams for financial independence while creating an improved quality of life for parents and their children.
