All of the music of America is in Tony’s music. Relix hit the nail on the head when writing of Tony: “True talent doesn’t need categories. \nHe is a tireless road musician who performs in a dizzying variety of formats: solo\, in a duo or trio or with his full five-person band. He especially values the opportunities he has had to tour with such legendary musicians as Gregg Allman and with such esteemed slide guitarists as David Lindley\, Derek Trucks and Sonny Landreth. \nTony has performed throughout the world at top venues and appeared at such prestigious music festivals as the Telluride Bluegrass Festival\, High Sierra Music Festival\, Jazz Aspen\, Kerrville Folk Festival\, Strawberry Music Festival\, Winnipeg Folk Festival\, Sisters Folk Festival\, San Jose Jazz Festival and countless others.  Read More \n\nJoining Tony on stage is Grammy Award-winning musician\, John Reischman\, on Mandolin and esteemed Bassist/ Composer/ Producer Eric Thorin. \n\n \n \n  \nErik Lunde & Sweet Virginia\nAbout Erik and Virginia’s New ‘Traditional Gospel\, Hymns and Spirituals Record\n\nColorado Americana artists Erik Lunde and Sweet Virginia teamed up with celebrated Colorado artist and producer AJ Fullerton to make a new record of “Gospel\, Hymns and Spirituals” which will be released in late summer of 2024. The record is an Old Timey Carter Family-Style celebration of some of the most beloved old Gospel songs in the American Songbook: “I’ll Fly Away”\, “Angel Band\,” “Wayfaring Stranger\,” “Trouble Of The World” and more. The songs draw deeply from the Duo’s upbringing in the Southern Baptist church with influences from the Folk\, Country\, Bluegrass and African-American spiritual styles. They will be playing the new record in its entirety as well as a few of their most popular original Folk\, Country and Americana songs. \n\n \nErik Lunde\n\nA Folk-Rock poet and Americana songsmith with a captivating voice\, cinematic songs\, and a dynamic stage presence\, Colorado-based singer-songwriter Erik Lunde “pens lyrics that are haunting and memorable poetry married with one of the widest arrays of melodies this area knows.” \nA songwriter and musician whose songs and sound bear the geography and cultural history of his Midwestern origins – and the road-worn vagabond spirit of his many nomadic years – Lunde is influenced by a wide variety of genres including the folk music\, gospel hymns\, bluegrass\, traditional country and rock & roll he grew up with – with a particular emphasis on the work of Bob Dylan\, Johnny Cash\, Emmylou Harris\, Leonard Cohen and John Prine who really influenced his writing and his musical tastes. \nThe founder and frontman of the Lunde Station band\, a well-known staple on the Northern Colorado music scene from 2012 -2017\, Lunde is now a solo singer-songwriter\, performing under his own name and has created a body of work that reflects his own genre-bending mashup of sound that reflects his disparate influences. His 2022 Folk-Rock & Americana record “Water From The Stone” was voted “Album Of The Year” by the Colorado Playlist.  Read More \n\nSweet Virginia\n\nRaised in Auburn\, Alabama\, Sweet Virginia picked up the guitar as a child & grew up singing in the church. Her southern upbringing shines through amongst Indie-Rock & Classic Country themes on her debut release. Virginia’s music is as honest as it is captivating taking inspiration from Emmylou Harris\, Shakey Graves\, and Brandi Carlile alike.  Read More \n  \n\n\n \n\n \nBenefit Details:\n\nThe concert is a fundraising event benefiting The Matthews House and funds raised will support their mission to empower youth and families by building trusting relationships and providing resources to disrupt the cycles of poverty and abuse. 100% of the event profit from ticket sales and all donations from wine and beer sales go directly to The Matthews House. \nVenue Details:\nThis summer marks the 9th season of Fort Collins Nursery’s Rock Garden Concert Series.
