Veggie Starts

Now is a good time to plant your cool season crops like artichoke, beets, broccoli, lettuce, cabbage, spinach, brussel sprouts, peas, and kale. Plant them in a nice shady spot so they’ll have protection from the hot sun in the summer months.  We have many cool season veggie starts in stock and ready for your garden with more on the way throughout the month.  You’ll also find a growing assortment of warm season starts like tomatoes and peppers with many more on the way as May approaches.

Remember – the average last frost date in Northern Colorado is May 15th and it can be several weeks later in Southern Wyoming, so keep your warm season veggies protected by keeping them indoors or using season extenders like row cover or a Wall O’ Water.

Check back throughout the months of April and May for new arrivals including the bulk of our warm season varieties!
