Hydrangeas thrive in moist, fertile, well-drained soil in partial to full shade. Ideally, they will be given full sun in the morning, with some afternoon shade to protect from the scorching midday sun. Hydrangeas are excellent for group plantings, shrub borders, privacy screens or containers. With a long flowering cycle, you will enjoy beautiful color from midsummer through fall. As a bonus, blooms left to dry on the plant make for spectacular winter interest! Whatever your personal preference, hydrangeas are a must have for every garden.
