If we are delivering larger trees, shrubs, or other bulky merchandise to a location on your property that has difficult access, the Foreperson may determine an up-charge based on time at a rate of $50.00 per man-hour plus materials, which may include rental charges for equipment. These charges are caused by such conditions as difficult access to the planting site caused by steep slopes, rough terrain or other physical barriers.
Planting Charges are based on the planting site being in open bare ground, accessible with handcarts, and in soil relatively free of rocks, roots or other impediments. We do not do bed preparation such as grading, edging, weed barrier or mulching. We do not do tree removal. The Foreperson may determine an up charge based on time a rate of $50.00 per man-hour plus materials, which can include rental charges for equipment. These charges are caused by such conditions as:
- Difficult access to the planting site caused by steep slopes, rough terrain, or other physical barriers.
- Difficult digging conditions caused by rocks, roots, or other impediments in the soil.
- Planting through existing mulch or weed barrier.
- Other conditions requiring extra time and/or equipment.
Additionally, ee love pets, but we don’t love the mess they leave. Please make a reasonable effort to pick up any pet waste in the areas where your plants are to be installed shortly before our crew arrives. If excessive pet waste is present when the crew arrives to plant, the Foreperson has the authority to postpone the planting until a date can be scheduled when the yard is clean. In the event of such a postponement, a fee equal to the Delivery Fee for Larger Material will be assesed based on the Delivery Zone where the service address is located (see chart above). The planting will be rescheduled at the convenience of the Delivery Manager.
Fountain Delivery:
- Local deliveries only. No delivery beyond Zone A.
- 40% of retail price for delivery and set-up, with a $110.00 minimum charge.
