Course Description
Come learn how to create a new type of planting called Chaparral Gardening that Lauren is developing based on many years of inspiration by and observation of one of our northern Colorado ecosystems. Based mainly on easy-care, low-water natives that also have aesthetic appeal along with pollinator and wildlife benefits, this style of planting has four seasons of interest and uniquely regional affinity and resonance.
Presented by Lauren Springer
Lauren Springer is a long-time NoCo resident and teacher at Fort Collins Nursery’s winter workshops. She is author of several garden books and has introduced numerous plants to the nursery trade. Her public garden designs include major planting areas at the Denver Botanic Gardens, Chatfield Farms, and The Gardens on Spring Creek where she is on staff.

Each attendee will receive their own personal login information that can’t be shared.

- You are registering for a virtual class that will be presented through Zoom Webinars. You can join a Zoom webinar without downloading any plugins or software but you will need internet access.
- Please note that refunds can only be accepted up to 1 day in advance of the event. Refunds can be processed through eventbrite and not directly by Fort Collins Nursery. You must sign into your Eventbrite account to process refunds.
