We use herbs in multiple ways every single day, but have you once taken time to thank these plants that enhance our lives? If you’re like me the answer is no, and now you feel guilty (as you should). Lucky for you however, May 6th is the perfect day to say thank you to plants that we use to spice up our food, make our homes smell nice, and even treat our ailments. And you can grow herbs just about anywhere. Looking to fill a small space in your kitchen? Slap an herb in there, baby! Looking for something that you can grow on a narrow ledge outside? Herbs will not only look great there, but they’ll allow you to incorporate fresh ingredients into your meals and drinks.
