Course Description

If you’ve ever tried starting seeds indoors before, you know what a challenge this can be! Seed starting requires specific environment, inputs, and technique to be successful. Learn all about starting your seeds indoors in this demo-heavy class. We will cover soil selection, containers, timing, fertilizing, watering, technique, best practices, and how to create the proper environment so you can successfully start seeds indoors!

Andrea Vanderbilt is a CSU alumni with over 9 years of experience in the horticulture industry. She is the founder and owner of Teach Me To Grow LLC, a company that specializes in garden education and the design, installation and maintenance of food-producing landscapes for urban environments. She is passionate about the endless benefits of growing food in urban environments and she lives to see more people doing so! Each attendee will receive their own personal login information that can’t be shared.

  • You are registering for a virtual class that will be presented through Zoom Webinars.  You can join a Zoom webinar without downloading any plugins or software but you will need internet access.
  • Please note that refunds can only be accepted up to 1 day in advance of the event. Refunds can be processed through eventbrite and not directly by Fort Collins Nursery. You must sign into your Eventbrite account to process refunds.
