Have you bought an orchid in bloom and want to re-bloom it? Received an orchid as a gift and now you would like to learn how to take care of it? Or maybe you are just curious and want to learn which orchids grow well in the Colorado living room. Join us for a class about how and where to grow orchids, with a practical focus on media, water, fertilizer and light. Take advantage of the vendors present at the event and use the opportunity to see or buy plants with guidance of local experts. Remember to bring your questions!
About the Instructor
Mark shares his passion for orchids by educating the general public about growing orchids, attending regional orchid shows, and teaching local growers and the general public about what makes a great orchid. Mark has been a member of a number of orchid societies in the country and is a past president of the local Hi-Country Orchid Club in Fort Collins, an active member of the Denver Orchid Society and the American Orchid Society. He has been growing orchids for more than 25 years and has visited many shows and events.
