Course Description:
Do you love the taste of tomatoes fresh off the vine? Are you overwhelmed by all the tomato variety choices? Do you want to grow special varieties not offered in garden centers? This class will answer these questions and will discuss transplanting and maintaining a healthy tomato plant, choosing the best varieties for our area and for your own garden, and how to grow tomatoes that actually taste the way tomatoes should!
From starting seeds to harvesting, this class will give you lots of tips for a successful tomato season. Long-time gardener or newbie, if you love the taste of homegrown, vine-ripened tomatoes, then this is the class for you!

Kathy Hatfield has been an avid vegetable and flower grower for over 40 years. She is the owner of Raspberry Hill Farm, a small family farm in northern Colorado specializing in seasonal cut flowers.
