2021 Pumpkin Weigh-Off Results

Our 13th Annual Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off is now in the books!  

Pumpkin growers from all over Colorado and Southern Wyoming put on one heck of a show for us. This year’s competition featured 20 pumpkin entries (the most at any Fort Collins Nursery Weigh-Off) from some of the top growers in the region as well as 8 kids division entries. The day’s top prize went to Chad new for his 1,676 lb. monster, which was a Fort Collins Nursery record and just 9 lbs. shy of the Colorado state record! 2nd place finisher Harold Stinchcomb’s 1,544 lb. giant was not enough to claim today’s top prize but it was enough to claim a new Wyoming state record! We were also thrilled to witness Chad New and Jim Grande secure their coveted GPC jackets for growing over 4,000 lbs. of pumpkins each between their 2021 competition entries!
