Hybrid Tea Roses

Hybrid tea roses are one of the most popular roses, if not flowers, in the world. Their classic beauty and fragrance make them a perfect choice for bouquets, anniversaries, and Valentine’s Day gifts and set the standard for elegance in a flower. Hybrid tea roses are a cross between hybrid perpetual roses and old-fashioned tea roses. They typically produce only one pointed bud at the end of each stem that slowly opens into a high-centered bloom. Virtually all hybrid tea roses are repeat bloomers throughout the growing season. Their flowers may have over 60 petals and can be as large as five inches across. Hybrid tea rose varieties feature an extensive colorful palette and have been cultivated in almost every color except blue. Almost all of them offer some degree of fragrance. The plants will grow quickly and reach their mature sizes of 3 to 8 feet tall within only three to four years, depending on the variety and the growing conditions.
