
Our 16th Annual Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off is now in the books!
This year’s weigh-off attracted dozens of growers from all over region with participants from Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. The contest was our biggest yet with 7 entries passing the 1,000 lb. mark and a staggering three entries weighing in at over 2,000 lbs! Fort Collins grower Brad Bledsoe wrapped up his amazing 2024 growing season with a winning entry and another Colorado state record with a monster 2,190 lb. pumpkin! Also a huge shoutout to Utah grower Ralph Laub for his second place pumpkin finishing just 1 lb. shy of first place at 2,189 lbs. Cheyenne growers Andy & Amy Corbin rounded out the top three with a 2,014 lb. pumpkin giving us three separate entries weighing in over a ton!
The competition featured entries from several different categories including pumpkins, watermelons, tomatoes, green squash, bushel gourds, long gourds and sunflowers.
