Leafy Green Starts

We have several varieties of leafy green starts (including lettuce, cabbage, kale, and spinach) in stock and ready for your garden.  Late March is a good time to plant cold season crops that prefer cool daytime temperatures of 60 to 80 degrees, and down to 40 degrees at night.  Leafy greens are cold-hardy and can withstand a frost. Plant them in a nice shady spot so they’ll have protection from the hot sun in the summer months.

We have an extensive selection of cool season veggie seeds from great companies like Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Co., Botanical InterestsRenee’s Garden, and Seed Savers Exchange.

We will also receive more varieties of cool season vegetable starts in late March or early April. Please check back for availability.
